Breakdown of the main ingredients for this product below:

Glutathione: a very powerful skin brightener and in many different cosmetics featuring this ingredient, the result is quite phenomenal.

Niacinamide: Also known as vitamin B3 and nicotinic acid, niacinamide is a very effective skin-restoring ingredient that offers multiple benefits for aging skin. Niacinamide can improve skin’s look and feel, brighten its tone and revive skin's healthy texture.

Personal Experience: I was very skeptical of this cream, since the sister version of this cream is the A'PIEU x Crayon Shin Chan White Up Clouding cream, which I was fairly underwhelmed with (though shockingly surprised, click here to read that blog entry).

However, shockingly enough, this product doesn't leave a white cast on my face nearly as much. In fact, it does begin to show a bit of a white film, but after massaging it into the face it'll sink into the skin for a splendid absorption. Though, understand because this is a final step cream, naturally it's not going to be as light as one would imagine.

I had originally tried the White Up cream first and it didn't blend into my skin as well, in fact, it left a white cast and my skin type couldn't possibly ever apply it during the day.

As for this Dewdrop cream, I would recommend wearing it during the day, night as a last resort only. It's quite hydrating, now the difference between hydrating and moisturizing in my opinion. .

Morning skin care routine ft. Dewdrop cream:

spray toner/toner > emulsion > essence (mine has SPF 50+ PA+++) > final step cream

Hydrating your skin means from within, it'll sink into the skin and keep your skin from becoming dry in the long run. Where as, moisturizing is more towards immediate effect from the surface of the skin, not within which would help in the overall run. This varies per items, however in this case, it's true enough for the hydrating aspect of this product.

This item immediately brightens my skin as a final step cream, as well it doesn't leave my skin too oily which isn't bad either. In fact, it gives my face a bit of a dewy appearance too, which is even better in my own opinion. The cream helps nourish the skin while helping clear it up too, this applies to the following: dark spots, post acne marks, etc.

Personally, I've enjoyed using this cream and I'm glad that I love this cream, as I didn't want a repeat of the White Up Cream.

Since using this cream the overall texture of my skin has brightened immensely, as well my post acne marks have significantly lightened which is always a plus in my book.

I've used the Etude House Big Cover Cushion (Mint) concealer, as well a CC cushion or a BB cushion (depending on the occasion) over the final step cream and it has not at all disturbed my skin at all.

For some products, as a final step cream, it can easily mess with the application of concealer or cc or bb cream by the product rolling up, caking up or even peeling.

This is in fact a product that I may in fact repurchase, which is very rare to say the least, if I don't then it's probably because I'm trying out new products. Though there are sometimes products I would like to repurchase, I owe to all my readers to continue blogging about new products and creating new product reviews on my blog.
