[Review] The Face Shop Volcanic Clay Blackhead Nose Clay Pack

Hello everyone,

Today's product review is from The Face Shop!

The Face Shop Volcanic Clay Blackhead Nose Clay Pack

Product Description: A volcanic clay pack that is applied around the nose area, designated for clogged pores and claiming to remove whiteheads and blackheads with ease.

How to apply the face mask: After cleansing the skin, wet with warm water (to open the pores) and apply generously onto the entire nose. Leave the clay pack on the nose or about 15-25 minutes until it's completely dry, pull from the edges and continue to peel off the strip.

Personal experience with product: There's absolutely no way of being able to sugarcoat this product review, I did not in the slightest enjoy this product one bit. Unfortunately, I was completely shocked that the difference between their Volcanic Clay nose strips and this pack would be a completely different result.

This was actually the first occasion I purchase a nose clay pack, I was looking to save money instead of continuing to purchase the nose strips, clearly trying to save a bit and try out a new product.

Though it was the complete opposite, I am convinced to this day buying this product was a waste of money, sadly this product was much too harsh for my skin.

I have seen individuals say this product is for sensitive skin, though I have to completely disagree on that statement, be cautious of this product and the amount of times you use it.

After peeling off the pack, there was always leftover residue and I never felt it actually cleansed my deeply clogged pores, rather it caused the excess oil and dirt to surface without removing it.

Additionally, I felt that this product actually stretched my pores as well, having used it once every 2 weeks - 1 month.

When I peeled off the clay pack, my nose would generally appear much more red and it seemed irritated by the product.

The product always left me an excess residue because it was too thick and couldn't completely peel off, which was always a hassle washing off the glue like consistency of this product.

The scent of this product is nothing short of a mix of chemicals, which I was never fond of and to think all that in vain because the product never worked for me.

I have recently tried my coworker's Japanese 3-step blackhead removal pack and it honestly surpassed my expectations, I can't recall the name though the product was on a completely other level compared to this product.

Unfortunately, in the end, I never had a good experience with this product and actually never finished the bottle before tossing it out. Though I did come close because I let others use it, none of the individuals happened to be fond of this nose pack, it's just too harsh for the skin.
