[Review] Tonymoly Choco Mushroom Pore Pack

Hello everyone,

Today's item will be from the Korean brand, Tonymoly!

 Tonymoly Choco Mushroom Pore Pack

Product Description: Magic food Choco mushroom cream pore pack is a cream pore pack containing Ghassoul powder to deeply cleanse pores, extract excess sebum and residual makeup that clog pores. Feels like melted chocolate and smells just like it too!

How to apply the face mask:After cleansing, spread evenly onto dry face for 10-15 minutes and rinse with warm water.
Magic Food Mushroom series!
If i didn't have so many overnight creams, I would definitely try the Golden sleeping mask.
Additionally, if I didn't have the Skinfood Strawberry Black Sugar Wash Off, I would purchase the Strawberry Sugar Scrub, I've actually used the tester in the store and quite like it. It does in fact have the strawberry seeds in it too, though I found it to be a harsher texture than the Skinfood Strawberry Black Sugar mask wash off.
Though, by chance, perhaps I'll be trying out the two products since I've enjoyed this Choco Mushroom pack.

Personal experience with product: I've been using this product on and off for a year now, somehow it's lasted me quite some time and I can recall encountering this product.

I was with a close friend of mine and we can into Tonymoly for the grand opening, though it wasn't long until the name of the store was hanged, however it's still selling only Tonymoly items which is rather odd.

At any rate, I was picking up a couple of mask sheets and couldn't leave without another item, it was at that moment I saw the Mushroom pack series on display.

I actually really wanted to get the Strawberry Scrub mushroom pack, though I was put off by the fact it was labeled as a scrub, I'm personally not fond of scrub products used on the face because of how harsh the product is. Though, I don't recall it being too harsh for weekly use, as well, I can clearly recall how nice the scent it had.

I then looked at the Golden Mushroom pack, though at the time I was using TFS Collagen sleeping back, so I had to turn a blind eye to this product too.

That's when I saw the Choco Mushroom pack, which had me convinced there was Chocolate in it, perhaps? I checked the ingredients and noticed it had Ghassoul powder, meant to deep cleanse pores, though I had never encountered such a product before.

It didn't have a chocolate scent, though it had a similar scent, one I just couldn't pinpoint though. The scent is not at all overwhelming, I apply this product at the end of my cleansing (night) routine and leave it on for 20-25 minutes.

The product doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, only my upper lip which I found a bit surprising. Though, I believe the product tells the user to not place it around the lips, oh well.

The pore pack is a creamy texture and easily spreads throughout the skin without any difficulty, once I washed it off, I felt my pores were notably clearer and the skin was much softer. I did notice a minimizing effect in my pores temporarily, however, this mask is fairly drying which is not too much of a problem. I follow with my toner to balance the ph level, apply eye cream and follow with my overnight oil/cream.

This mask pack is perfect for anyone with oily/post acne skin, of course, I would use it once - twice a week if you have sensitive skin like me.
